Think Contemporary, we are fresh and unique interior designers in Ireland who also have a wealth of experience in large interiors projects, Project Management, spatial planning and want to develop the best modern Irish interior design consultancy in Ireland. Established in 2008 by Joanne Kelly and Anthony Buggy, both fully qualified Interior Architects.

Joanne graduated from the Dublin Institute of Technology in 2006 with an honours degree in Interior & Furniture Design. From there she went to work for a very well renowned traditional design company Mimosa based in the southside of Dublin. It was here that she gained exstensive knowledge of the importance of fine finishes and project management.
Although over the time spent at Mimosa, Joanne really learned that her true style is much more contemporary and quirky. It is for this reason that she took a position with Duff Tisdall. While working with Duff Tisdall, Joanne further developed her style and was involved with clients from their initial concept right through to completion.

Anthony’s career started in Australia after graduating from the Dublin Institute of Technology, with an honours degree in Interior Design.Working for a leading kitchen design company in Sydney he began to develop a good knowledge and understanding of spatial planning and ergonomics of a well designed living space.
With an established career behind him, he returned to Dublin, to take a position with renowned design team, Duff Tisdall. During his time with Duff Tisdall, Anthony worked on many high end design driven projects from penthouse show apartments to full project management of private residences. It is while working here that Anthony crossed paths with Joanne.
Through working together on numerous projects, both Anthony and Joanne saw a gap in the market for something different. Creating contemporary interiors that are both individual and creative, thus Think Contemporary was born.
Some Questions:
- Isn't 'contemporary' style, stark and cold?
- No, not at all. We think of our style of interior design as 'comfortable contemporary'. We like to make rooms vibrant, beautiful and exciting but we also keep in mind that people actually live in these rooms and thats where the comfortable part comes in.
- Do you do traditional style interiors?
- Absolutely. We give each project our all and make each project as individual as the clients who hire us.
