What does an interior designer do?

Our Interior Designers are problem solvers. Our first role is to listen to what you need and come up with a solution that fits your life at home. We can help with every aspect, from single rooms to planning an entire house. We understand that every project is unique and our work reflects that. 

We help you to define your interior design style and provide you with concept designs and implementation through to spatial planning, layout plans, colour schemes, window dressings, furniture sourcing, liaising with other trades and suppliers, kitchen and bathroom designs, lighting sourcing, art and accessories sourcing and project management. We have the expertise to provide you with a smooth renovation project. We can save you time, money and get you the results you want.

We have been working in the industry for over 25 years and know how to plan every detail so you get the home design you want. 

What does an interior architect do?

Interior architecture is the balancing of art and science in interior design. It takes into account all elements of a build – not only the furnishings. However, only an interior designer with training in interior architecture can call themselves an Interior Architect as they possess the professional certification from an appropriate educational body.

Interior Architecture brings the technical and architectural aspects of an interior design project, keeping in mind the artistic features. The technical aspects include plumbing, electrical, venting and ergonomics along with other elements of an interior design project.

Whereas, pure Interior Design involves considering the look and usage of an area’s interior in order to create a visually appealing space for clients. This is achieved through the creative use of structural components together with decorations and soft furnishings.

We are a small, tight-knit team offering custom residential interior design to our clients both in Ireland and abroad. Our work features heavily online, in Irish and international print and we have been awarded Interior Design Practice of the Year by the Interior Design awards – but most of all, we think that it comes down to trust and understanding. We understand that we are working on someone’s most precious spaces and it requires understanding and collaboration. We take the time to understand our clients and listen to what you need and want, working on developing a good relationship together and bringing our unique style and expertise to any project.

Do you do full renovations or just one room design?

We do it all, we can be engaged for a full house renovation or single room designs. We have a range of packages to suit your needs, so you can improve your home room by room or in one go, depending on your circumstances. What residential package is right for me?

That depends on what you are looking for. Our Concept Design Package is a great option if you just need a helping hand with designing a room from award-winning interior designers

Our Concept Design Package Plus will take this to the next level and build out your exact room with our designs in 3D so you can really visualise how it will look and make decisions based on that. 

Then if you are looking for help with a larger scale project, if you don’t have the time, and want it all taken care of by design professionals to your taste, your timeline and your budget, then we would create a bespoke package for you.

What if I want to do 2 rooms or 3 rooms? Is there a discount if I do more than one room at a time?

All packages can be bundled or purchased one at a time and even combined with any one of our add-ons. If you want to do more than one room at a time we offer a 15% off each subsequent room after the first. This only applies when you are doing multiple rooms at the same time. 

If you have 3+ rooms we recommend a bespoke package which we can discuss with you over the phone and tailor specifically to your needs.

What are your add on's?

We offer additional add on’s to the residential packages. These include;

– Artwork and Accessories Sourcing & Purchasing List
– Bespoke Joinery Design – Design and Drawings
– Technical Drawings
– Project Management

Can I upgrade the residential packages once I’ve purchased one?

Absolutely! We can discuss this with you throughout the process and we can organise it for you. However, if you decide to add more rooms further into the process we will have to do another in-person consultation therefore it is more cost effective if you bundle packages together at the beginning of a project.

Why are kitchen and bathroom packages priced differently?

These projects are priced differently due to the complexity for both kitchen and bathroom designs. There are many more elements to consider when designing these spaces so they require more time and our pricing reflects that.

Do you offer online services?

Yes, we can offer these packages and services online depending on your requirements and on the project. We can discuss this with you on your free phone consultation.

How long does a project take?

For the two Concept Design Packages we aim to deliver between 3-4 weeks. For the Bespoke Design Service it depends on the project but this is something we can discuss with you at the beginning of the process. 

We provide detailed timelines to you when you engage with us and work closely with our clients and suppliers to keep them on track. Due to the nature of the work, sometimes these can change but we always keep everyone informed throughout the process.

When is the best time to engage you in the renovation project?

The perfect time to engage an interior architect & designer is at the start of any project. We have a unique set of skills and if we can be involved at the beginning, whether that be in conversations with architects (if using) or at the start of a project, we can make the best design decisions for your needs.We provide a full range of design services from concept through to completion, so you can work with us at any stage, as soon as possible is the best!

Can you service clients outside Dublin/Ireland?

We can! We have run successful projects throughout Ireland and abroad. It takes a slightly different approach which we can discuss with you in our free phone consultation call.

Is there travel costs?

Our packages include travel costs within the greater Dublin area. Outside Dublin, it depends on how far we need to travel which we can discuss on our free phone consultation and provide you with a quote.

What if I don’t like the design?

We work very closely with our clients during the process, involving them throughout the design process. We offer one round of revisions at the end of each design phase, so changes can be made then. If there are more changes throughout the process, this is charged as an additional cost, which is discussed in advance with clients and pricing depending on the revision. It is very important for us that our clients are happy with the final result!

Do you have a cancellation policy?

We understand that life can get in the way sometimes, but to respect both our time and yours we ask that you give us 48 hours notice if you need to change or cancel your consultation. We require a €300 deposit before consultations which is deducted from the overall cost.
