Walk on Colour!

So continuing on from last weeks post, I thought that I would talk about flooring, particularly hall flooring. I feel that this is an area that is over looked a lot of the time when we want to create an impact. The majority of us choose a neutral floor, such as tiles or timber, not considering the possibilities.

Well what if I told you that one of the easiest ways to create an impact in your entrance hall is  to utilise the floor or stairs….

Run with It!

Adding a runner or a rug to your hall way is a great way to introduce colour and texture into the space. It is one of the easiest ways to create an impact and the beauty is its not a permanent fixture.

If carpet isn’t your thing, but you still want to quirky up you stairs, why not paint them. The colours you can use and designs that you can create are endless, but here are some ideas for you. 🙂

As always we would love to hear from you! Have you created a wow factor in your hallway? Make sure and let us know….
