Since its inception in 2010, Think Contemporary has been at the forefront of modern interior design in Ireland, driven by the dynamic partnership of Joanne Kelly and Anthony Buggy. Both with a shared background in Interior Architecture from the prestigious Dublin Institute of Technology and international experience under their belts, Joanne and Anthony set out to redefine the Irish interior design landscape. Their mission? To create spaces that are not just aesthetically pleasing but deeply personal, functional, and truly reflective of the people who inhabit them.
Developing their own style and approach, Think Contemporary has flourished and earned a great reputation within the industry throughout the years as one of the leading Interior Designers Ireland has. Working across both residential and commercial sectors they have been featured in multiple publications and have been both nominated and won prestigious awards.

Anthony Buggy, Managing Director of Think Contemporary, is an experienced Irish interior designer with a passion for creating spaces that blend function and creativity. After gaining valuable experience in Australia, Anthony returned to Ireland to establish Think Contemporary as one of Dublin’s leading interior design studios.
He thrives on the challenge of large-scale residential and commercial projects, where his innovative thinking and practical expertise deliver exceptional results. Outside of the studio, Anthony finds inspiration in the open seas, often swimming or exploring new environments that fuel his creative energy.
Joanne Kelly
Creative Director

As Creative Director of Think Contemporary, Joanne Kelly leads the studio’s design vision with a client-focused, contemporary approach. Recognised as one of the most innovative Irish interior designers, Joanne draws inspiration from her travels, new cultures, and everyday experiences, weaving them into interiors that are personal, stylish, and timeless.
Her design philosophy is rooted in creativity and collaboration, ensuring every project — whether a modern Dublin apartment or a heritage home in Kildare — reflects the unique personality of its owner. Joanne’s work continues to shape Think Contemporary’s reputation as a leading force in Irish interior design.
